A full day experience of the amazing Cape Peninsula. The tour starts in Simon's Town where you will first visit the endangered African Penguin Colony at the world famous Boulders Beach. Next we make our way To Cape Point or the Cape of Good Hope as it is fondly known. here we will visit the light house to take in some incredible views. After Cape Point, we make our way to the Cape Point Ostrich farm for some leisure time. We then take a scenic drive to Masiphumelele for a cultural walking tour. Masiphumelele, is the local informal settlement of the Cape Peninsula. An estimated 50,000 people live in this informal settlement. The name Masiphumelele is a Xhoza word and means “we will succeed”. The tour is focused around the spirit of community and will visit the following places • Public areas such as the Library • Local NGO’s • Township entrepreneurs • Local Creche’s • Nonny’s House for lunch
